However the technician sends it. It lands neatly.

Questions about work orders

Not the question you had? Email us and the people building Riffle will answer.

  • What is a digital work order?

A work order on the technician's phone instead of on paper. In Riffle nobody fills in a form: voice, photos, scans and hours become a clean work order.

  • Does the technician still fill anything in?

No. The technician talks, takes photos, scans materials and sets a start and finish time. Riffle turns that into the work order, and the office checks what Riffle proposes.

  • Does the app work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The technician installs Riffle from the App Store or Google Play and signs in with the account the office sets up.

  • Does the work-order app work offline?

Not yet. Riffle is in early access and we are building offline mode now. Until then the app needs a signal to send an update.

  • Can the customer sign and get the work order?

We are building that now: the customer signs on the technician's phone and gets the work order straight away. Until then the work order is in your ERP and you send it from there, as you do today.

  • Where do the materials come from?

From the article file in your ERP, so 2BA too if you use it there. What the technician scans or names, Riffle looks up there, with your own article numbers and prices.

  • Does it work with our ERP, including Syntess?

Yes. Riffle puts work orders, hours and materials in the system you already use, and nothing has to move. With Syntess it already runs: customers, sites, work orders and hours sync both ways. If you use AFAS, SnelStart, King or another package, we build that connection.

  • Where is our data stored?

Stored in the EU, never used to train models. Export everything, whenever you like.

  • What does the work-order app cost?

Riffle is in early access. Until it ends you pay €500 a month, excl. VAT: one flat fee, not per seat and not per work order. After that we agree a price together.

  • Does it work for technicians who don't speak Dutch?

Yes. The app is available in 16 languages and every technician picks their own, including the one they talk in. In the office the work order reads in Dutch.
