Every company logs work differently. They have different rules for hours, different materials, and different ways of checking a work order. One agent that did everything could not bend to all of that, so we split it up.
Technicians still do exactly what they did before. After a job, they send one voice memo: "Fixed the leak, had a small issue with the valve, took about three hours, used these materials." Riffle now passes that memo to a router agent that decides which specialists it needs. The hours agent books the time under your hours rules, the materials agent logs the articles and products used, and the summary agent writes up the job. Each agent works toward its own goal.

In the dashboard, the Materials and Hours agent pages let the office edit review rules live. If you switch a mode and that would drop exceptions you have set, Riffle asks first.
A clearer job update for technicians
After sending a voice memo, technicians see their update split into summary, materials, hours and open questions. Hour lines never overlap, and if a saved update clashes with other hours, the technician sees a warning right away.
What's next: autonomy you earn
For now, everything is approved by the office, and that is on purpose. We are working on agents that learn from those approvals. When a technician's updates keep getting approved without changes, Riffle will suggest auto-approving their work. And when materials that usually go together are missing from an update, Riffle will ask whether something was forgotten.
